Aviso n.º 133/2004 Por ordem superior se torna público que, por nota de 29 de Julho, o Estado Italiano notificou ter a República do Azerbaijão depositado junto do Ministério dos Negócios Estrangeiros de Itália, em 6 de Junho de 2003, o seu instrumento de ratificação da Convenção do UNIDROIT sobre Bens Culturais Roubados ou Ilicitamente Exportados, aberta para assinatura em Roma em 24 de Julho de 1995, com a seguinte declaração: 1 - 'In accordance with article 16, paragraph 1, of the Convention, the Republic of Azerbaijan declares that claims for the restitution, or requests for the return, of cultural objects brought by a State under article 8 may be submitted to it under the procedures which are specified in subparagraphs b) and c) of article 16, paragraph 1, of the Convention.'.

2 - 'In accordance with article 16, paragraph 2, of the Convention, the Republic of Azerbaijan declares that the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan is designated as the competent authority of the Republic of Azerbaijan to order the restitution or the return of cultural objects under the provisions of chapters II andIII.'.
