Aviso Por ordem superior se torna público que no dia 8 de Novembro de 1979 foi celebrado em Lisboa um acordo por troca de cartas entre o Governo de Portugal e o Governo da Suécia sobre cooperação alargada, com vista ao financiamento de estudos relacionados com o projecto das pirites, cujos textos originais em inglês e as respectivas traduções acompanham o presente aviso.

Sir: With reference to the discussions held in Lisbon May 10-11, 1979, between representatives of the Government of Sweden and the Government of Portugal regarding the Enlarged Co-Operation between the two Governments and with reference also to the Protocol on Enlarged Co-Operation signed December 8, 1978, I have the honour to propose the following: The Government of Sweden has decided to make available to the Government of Portugal during the Swedish financial year 1979-1980 financial resources up to an aggregate value of SKR 2880000, to be used for studies related to the Pyrite Project within the co-operation between LKAB International and other Swedish firms and the Portuguese Pyrite Commission, CPP. This amount is additional to the annual amounts made available by Sweden for development co-operation with Portugal.
In the implementation of the Agreement resulting from this exchange of letters, the Swedish International Development Authority, SIDA, is competent to represent the Government of Sweden.
The further details regarding the above co-operation wil be worked out jointly by LKAB International and CPP and are subject to approval by SIDA and the Portuguese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the External Economic Co-Operation Bureau of t he Ministry of Finance.
If the foregoing is acceptable to you, I have the honour to propose that this letter and your written reply to that effect shall constitute an agreement on Enlarged Co-Operation between the Government of Sweden and the Government of Portugal, which shall enter into force upon the date of your written answer and remain valid until both Parties have fulfilled their obligations thereunder.
