Lei n.º 1/2001 de 4 de Janeiro Segunda alteração à Lei n.º 98/97, de 26 de Agosto, que aprova a Lei de Organização e Processo do Tribunal de Contas, alterada pela Lei n.º 87-B/98, de 31 de Dezembro.
A Assembleia da República decreta, nos termos da alínea c) do artigo 161.º da Constituição, para valer como lei geral da República, o seguinte: Artigo único Objecto Os artigos 18.º, 23.º e 114.º da Lei n.º 98/97, de 26 de Agosto, passam a ter a seguinteredacção: 'Artigo 18.º Recrutamento dos juízes 1 - ....................................................................................................................

4 - Devem prioritariamente ser colocados nas Secções Regionais juízes oriundos das magistraturas.
5 - (Anterior n.º 4.) 6 - (Anterior n.º 5.) Artigo 23.º Juízes além do quadro 1 - A nomeação de juízes do Tribunal de Contas para outros cargos, em comissão de serviço, nos termos da lei, implica a criação automática de igual número de lugares além do quadro, a extinguir quando os seus titulares vierem a ocupar lugares do quadro.
2 - Os lugares além do quadro serão providos segundo a lista de graduação de concurso durante o respectivo prazo de validade ou mediante concurso a abrir nos termos dos artigos 18.º a 20.º 3 - Os juízes nomeados para lugares além do quadro ocuparão, por ordem da respectiva graduação, as vagas que vierem a surgir posteriormente, ainda que tenha expirado o prazo de validade do concurso respectivo.
