Sumário: Atribui Medalha de Mérito Cultural a Paula Rego.
Nos termos do disposto no n.º 1 do artigo 19.º do Decreto-Lei n.º 251-A/2015, de 17 de dezembro, e ao abrigo do Decreto-Lei n.º 123/84, de 13 de abril, foi atribuída em 16 de julho de 2019, a Medalha de Mérito Cultural à pintora Paula Rego, de nacionalidade portuguesa, natural de Lisboa e residente há muitos anos no Reino Unido, detentora de uma obra que tem sido amplamente reconhecida em Portugal e além-fronteiras, tendo recebido da Coroa Britânica a distinção de Dame Commander of The Order of the British Empire, pela sua contribuição para as Artes, entre muitos outros galardões.
