Despacho conjunto n.º 434/2001. - Pretende a Câmara Municipal de Cascais viabilizar a relocalização do Hospital de Cascais, que actualmente já não permite oferecer aos seus utentes os cuidados de saúde primários indispensáveis.
O terreno seleccionado para a instalação da nova unidade hospitalar localiza-se em Tires, freguesia de São Domingos de Rana, concelho de Cascais, e possui uma área de 161 471 m2, da qual se prevê ocupar uma área de cerca de 23 500 m2 - identificada na planta anexa ao presente despacho conjunto - que integra a Reserva Ecológica Nacional, por força da delimitação constante da Resolução do Conselho de Ministros n.º 155/95, de 25 de Novembro.
