Es bien conocido que Portugal ha implementado largas y sostenibles políticas económicas y financieras con el propósito de estabilidad, productividad y desarrollo. Además, su sistema fiscal tiene uno de los índices más bajos de impuesto corporativo de la UE, principalmente por la capacidad del Incentivo Fiscal de Inversión de Reserva de conceder remuneraciones de mérito y reparto de riesgo para inversiones extranjeras sanas y sólidas.
La adopción del Euro - ha disminuido la mayoría de los riesgos de intercambio extranjero dentro de la UE y ha reducido la volatilidad de intercambio con divisa extranjera y ha proporcionado una baja inflación e índices de interés, costes de producción entre los más bajos de la UE, un pronostico de desarrollo estable encima del promedio europeo, constituyendo todo esto fuertes incentivos para invertir en Portugal.
